ISE Door Prize

Anyone know what the "prize" is that you win when you enter your info from your ISE entry ticket?

$1000 Sports Authority gift card.  And the promise not to sell your info. 

I got a call saying I won a special prize! Will call in the morning to see what it is, probably just something I will need to pay for I'm sure.

They said I won an all inclusive trip to Hawaii including airfare.  I kept asking about how much it was going to cost me and they kept saying that I will only owe the tax when I book. Will go see what this is all about on Thursday night. Maybe I did win a free trip to Maui or most likely they will try selling me something.

Right on! Just hope it doesn't become a Time Share scam. I had that happen to me and didn't realize it until I was in Florida. Nothing bad happened, but I literally wasted an entire day (of only 2.5) trapped in the time share compound.

The reason I asked is because I won this year.  I also won last year but didn't call them back right away (or ever).  They proceeded to call me 2-3x a day for a couple months but didn't leave a vm after the initial call.  So, I am highly suspicious of what they are offering...

Did you fill something out for some sort of prize?  Like once in a mall I filled out one of those slips to enter a free car give away.  Only to be called time and time again to say I won something, but it was never the car, and lots of strings attached for a cheap time share.

That could be a clue right there.  Telemarketers and Collection agencies essentially make cold calls to people by way of a phone system, and until you pick up the phone there may not be anyone on the line.  Ever picked up a call to then hear it sound like somone else just picked up the other end?
