Any advise on Pyramid lake in nevada?

Im going there sunday with my brother, not sure where we are launching yet, probably a 7 or 8 am launch, open to suggestions, on just about everything, where to launch what to troll ect.

I have some friends who fish there with float tubes in the winter. They say they can only stay in the water for  a few hours, and  claim to do quite well jigging maribou jigs, black and black and yellow.

If you like the outdoors and like fishing you are going to love Pyramind. I have never trolled it only banked so I don't have any advice trolling wise other then be mindfull of the wind. It can come up out of no where and get strong fast. People die there because they don't respect it. Seems like Pelican Point is a popular boat launch. Stop at Crosby's if you need a beer, corn dog, or lures. Kind of a cool old hole in the wall bar with stuffed fish and pictures all over the walls.
