I'm ON that if I can get out of work for an afternoon one of those days, Ryan!  Flossers are catching lots of hatchery steelies to the teens even in the mud!  Can't wait to fish some green water on the Mad.   :smt007
Chasing salmon for the summer, and maybe a halibut too.

Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Good Luck! Fished the Gualala on the weekend, water looked perfect but fishing was tough. Only saw one hooked but lost after 5 mins in 2 days. Heard of a few other caught. Caught a bunch of smolts when I was nymphing but put it down and threw the spey rod all day today. Weather was awesome but somehow didn't feel like steelie fishing...

Tuesday works for me.  What lures are y'all going to be using?  Kastmasters & little cleos or Brad' s plugs?  I have little experience, but caught a nice one last march on a plug from drift boat and once years ago on my fly rod.  Would the mini x be better in the river than the xfactor?
