The public is invited to attend DFG's annual meeting on the status of California salmon populations and the outlook for 2012 ocean salmon fisheries. Man I wish that was closer to my area.  I'm looking forward to hearing when the season will open this year.  Remember, in years past the season opened the second Saturday in February at Shelter Cove!  I'm missing those days...
