Beautiful gun!!

 :smt007 :smt007 :smt007

If you don't have one already...get a floatline! You don't wanna lose that thing!!

Let me know when you wanna come down this way and we'll go out and have some fun! I'm not a very good mentor, but I can show you the areas where I go and see if we can't find you some fishies to shoot at!

 :smt006

Sincerely,

Jim

The Big Jim mentorship/slash dive partner program goes like this.....while you're putting on your suit, Jim will point at the spot where you should go.....you blink and you don't see him till he's foondling eels back on the beach at the end of the day.  :smt003

I figured to keep it fair,
I would take a day off and try this bobbing around in the salt stuff.
Give the rest of you AOTY guys a chance before the fishing gets any good

LMAO!!!!!!!

Yeah...I'm not usually a very good partner I know....but I ALWAYS have cold beer in the cooler for aferwards!

 :smt003

When I have the luxury of not having to be home before noon I am a little more relaxed and patient...a little bit.

All kidding aside, Eric it would be cool to get out in the water with you....

Best advice I can give is don't worry about shooting anything your first few times out...

Focus on getting comfortable in the water, with your gear, diving down, equalizing your ears, making sure you got the right amount of weight, resting and relaxing on the surface, that you are comfortable in and around the kelp, looking for cracks and holes to look into with your light etc....

While doing all of the above keep your gun handy and hopefully you will bring home dinner.

 :smt004

Ana is starting Team in Training next weekend, so Saturdays will be my day to take Valentina to ballet and chill with Jayme.

Sundays will be my fish hunting day, so just lemme know when you want to get out there.

 :smt006

Sincerely,

Jim

If you or your neighbor have a pool, try to "weight" yourself properly in the pool with all the gears on, then spend at least an hour practice diving to the bottom and stay down as long as you can to get comfy with your breath holding limit.
