I have to go with stupid.  Then again, most major achievements come via some form of stupidity.

Looks real to me, back in my day found myself in similar situations (minus snow)...as others said, no hesitation, keep the momentum up!

I suspect it's real.  All helmet cam videos make it look like the helmet stays still, because it does relative to the camera position.  Here's another example.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.

It's real. The rider had snow spikes in the tires and also most snow, mud, water etc that sheds off the front tire goes directly up into the front fender especially at lower speeds. That ridgeline is actually not nearly as hard as some because it's pretty flat and straight.

definitely real.  hd pro shots from mountain bike helmets look the same way look.  Jim's right though, the wide angle lens makes it look more steep and high.  If you look at the thread Jim showed earlier, you can see that guys ride up and down that ridge.  If something went wrong, the guy could maybe ride it down to the bottom.

And just when I was starting to think motocrossers were as cool as mountain bikers  :smt044 Just pulling your leg, Jim......that's way cool riding.

I have to say... I think it's fake. Well done but fake.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk because I'm one of the cool kids.

+1  Yup, no snow or dirt flying from the front tires.

My son showed this vid to me a few days ago. After getting over the initial shock of this rider on top of this ridge. I'm thinking after he stops at end, where does he go from here? But then I'm thinking a fake vid too, his helment doesn't move at all, even when he reaches up to turn off the camera!
