Tomorrow is the last day we have to say goodbye to Malibu and La Jolla because of the MLPA.
I found out how to get at those White Seabass ear stones.  :smt007
Happy New Year anyway!   :smt006

I love your vid Bobby. Motherfuckers have no idea what they've done to us. Peace bro. I lost my church up here too. Come to GS6 and Albion if you can for some love and harmony. Not to mention the fishing. We will be expecting you.

I believe much of La Jolla is still open.  What is closed is "South" La Jolla although the northern section of that MLPA gets into some of the productive spots of the La Jolla fishery.  So if you are interested in fishing La Jolla, it's still a possibility.

Good one Bobby,

As for whats closed, LJ is still open for the most part but some has been taken but not the most popular.

As for Malibu well it got screwed took the only really deep water spot and closed it and some other prime spots to the South one being where I believe Spike caught his Record WSB.  :smt013 That they took this and we will never be able to fish it again. Still remember one of my first paddles we did a P-N-F (paddle-n-Fish) and it was a blast 20 kayakers getting shuttled along the PCH from point A-B in the back of a Astro Van. LOL

Great vid, Bob - loved it.  Way to compile the kickass WSB footage!

Hey DaBlazer!  I shot all of it on the Kodak Sport/Play camera.  It works killer underwater too!
It slide into pockets easy and offers immediate playback unlike the gopro.  Long batterylife and
cheap price makes it my new favorite.
Thanks RHYAK for the cool compliment!  We are always laughing when we fish together. :smt001

Bob,
Thanks for the reply. I was very impressed with the clarity, color and resolution of your video. That Kodak sport/play is definitely worth taking a look at. Looking forward to seeing more of your vids in the near future!
Cheers

The closures hit us all, but as you say we live to fish & fight another day.

There will be seabass to catch in 2012.
