As usual your local 'pond' kicks out some pretty nice fish!  You know that lake well and it shows in your results.   I remember your posts over at pierfishing.com.  I haven't been there for a long time but I'm glad to see you over here.  Have a great christmas!  Thanks for the post.

Nice report and late merry christmas.

AND LOL your at my old stomping grounds. My parents own the house 5 houses south from the one in the back ground of that picture. I've only been able to make it up once or 2 weekends a year usually during the summer lately, but when I was younger I caught dozens of brown, rainbows, salmon, and bass out there.

Thanks all!  Hope everyone's New Years wraps up a great holiday season!

Merry Chris-ness!  This report and the pix are so average...  Good thing average for you is superstar for most.   :smt003  Thanks for sharing, Bro, and have a great holiday season.  Looking forward to sharing some water time with you in the coming year - hopefully see you in May at the Cove.   :smt001
I know, totally par for the course right?  Haha.  It's not me dude, it's this lake.  It's got fish.  Big fish.  And a lot of them  :smt003.  I'm still waiting for the pull of a double-digit brown, I heard a guy recently pulled a 9 pounder from shore.

I'm counting on being at the Cove for Gimme Shelter in 2012!

Cool!  That entire 1/4 mile stretch around the A-Frame is a great place to fish.  I haven't tried it for smallies yet, but I've been marking some structure inshore that looks like it'd hold smallies.  I'll be giving it a whirl come spring for sure.  My mom lives in the LACC, so that's how I get my 'free pass' into that place  :smt003.

LOL, I know right?  Because we all know it's barely possible to land a trout from a kayak.  There's no way in hell someone could land a WSB as large as the one you're holding from a kayak, they'd be dragged into the deep.  It's a fact  :smt005.
