Went to timber cove tuesday morning,The ocean was a lake. First drop outside the point hooked a 25 in ling. All day was a pick of small blues & coppers with 2 nice cabs. My buddy leonard landed a hog 10 lb cab & a nice 26 in ling. At 12.30 we started back with a couple of stops . On the last drop a 35 in ling decided to bite. Great day otw! Ran into Spike at the launch, had a great time bsing with him . Overall catch 3 ling 3cabs 12 rockfish. What a great day with some great people

Thanks for the report, Timber Cove has been there forever but just in recent years seems to have become allot more popular with the yak crowd. Perfect launch spot and really fishy this year.

Welcome aboard Striperswiper.  On Monday I got one of the Lingzilla broke off my 17lb leader and lost another one right at the yak!  Did you see an 6oz lead head attached in the mouth of your 35" Ling?  :smt003  Thanks again for the report.

monday was a blast out there. i got  two big verms one ling some blues an chinas. i also had a double ling on an lost the big one out of my baby sized net.lol. cant use a trout net in the ocean!
Civilization ends at the waterline. Beyond that, we all enter the food chain, and not always right at the top.

Check if the Ling has two Jighead cause I lost a big one there a couple of months back!
