Sorry for the delay on this post. Gorgeous day out at China Camp. The bay was as calm as a pond with decent water clarity. I drifted with the slow incoming tide and started the day throwing out a white hair raiser. After losing about 3 hookups, I decided to switch over to a rattle trap hoping that the double treble hooks would put the lock down on these stripers. Second cast in, hooked me a nice 25 incher right at the front of the boat. The rest of the bass during the afternoon just seemed to be getting smaller with each cast.  15 fish all day. Cant beat that.

Wow! Way to go get em! Sounds like a great day with some nice fish. Did you have to do the mud walk on the way in?  :smt003

Thank you very much. I didnt have to do the mudwalk since I docked over by the museum. I havent seen it get too muddy out there but I have seen some poor saps drag their boats in the mud by bullhead flats.
