Doran first wen after opening Bloodbath made an appearence!!!

Wensday rolls around and Joe and a work mate from Mell Cotton's made an early appearence along with a grip of other NCKA brothers...  Major crabs and BB special Crab Cakes later on in the day!!!   The camp host when asked if he would like some crabs that were just cooked up said, Son I'm from Tx if it doesn't wiggle we don't eat it" when asked if he would like to try joes CC that was a different story

G-Whiz donied 6 noodles for joes ride at Tiki I was finally able to give them to him... he pulled a BigJim move 

wind was blowing a bit and not flat water but pretty tame...  I believe PondPoachers overniter had 14, I had 9    Lots of crabs for everyone...  Joe scored on some fattys for his bro...

We left the pots out there for a day long soak and went back out and got a grip more.......One of Joe's crabs measured 7.75 inchs

One of many sunup till sundown days.......this one was really a lot of fun...BSing with the gang chillin, crabbing, and eating a whole lot of crab cakes!!!  Thanks so much for that JOE!!!   That left over HUGE ass bowl of cakes we cooked latter!!! Unbelieveably the BEST!!!  Thanks brother...now go by bout 14 more noodles for your ride...6 arn't going to do it!!!

Love the pics! Just make sure you use a crab gauge because the tape doesn't count, DFG can ticket you for not having the gauge. The tape doesn't measure correctly because the hump in the crabs body.

yep gauges OTW...been there done that...thanks for intell vic we were just showing how BIG that crab was...guage dosn't go to 8" bro...    in fact watched and talked with the local ranger day before you showed was walking up to everyone and asking if they "had" guage...one guy had two shortys and he tossed them out in the water...walked up and started talking with me and said, "man i could of wrote that guy up for 2 shorts $800.00 a pop but my job is to inform" my responce was, "right on" but said also, "I ask them a question and if there not lieing I just tell them the way it's supposed to be"  They know if your lying bro......nice guy...said it was great to see you guys checking cuz there's some ghetto $h^t going on...missing pots, obvious things that should be followed with a spotting scope... I did notice some increased local law inforcement activity from opener on...that was good to see...f'n A$$ holes that don't go out and work their pots for their OWN freakin crabs!!! their worse than slow drivers
