Short and sweet dip in the ocean and home before noon!

ACTUALLY, got my ass handed to me at my Plan A spot...got caught by a sneaker wave, broke my snorkel and ripped my weight belt off.

 :smt009

Lost the weight belt but got back to shore with everything else.

Said F this and went to Plan B.

Still a challenging shore break, but much less powerful swells.

Viz was killer and picked up 5 chunky kelpies and one nice Olive.

Tried to hunt in the shallows for eels for awhile, but the surge was wicked so called it quits and came home early with plenty of yummy fish for a few meals.

Jim

Thanks Brent!

I got a back-up that I keep in my truck (and a back up mask/snorkel) which saved the day for me today!

Looking forward to getting back out there with you!

Jim

Thanks for sharing the video Jim. Sorry about the lost belt bro. I have a weight belt too that I don't use and you're more than welcome to borrow it as well.

Bummer about the belt, funny you were just talking about your back up gear last Sunday. Picked up some new rubber for the gun the other day. Should be good to go for one of these upcoming weekends.
