I've never been a part of the crabbing adventures, but my feeling on many people out there is it will just ad to the excitement and " Buzz " around that day...

I'm figuring we will need to take over a certain section of Doran Beach by the jetty...

I'll be talking with Sonoma County parks soon....

I'll try to get a day off on that Saturday to joint the event.

I'm in! I'm camping on the jetty w/ 3 other family's. Would love to help out with the vets. I served in the guard for 7 years so I know the lingo. I will have a yak for them to use and will see about getting extra pots and rings.

I'm camping out friday night, so maybe when the parking lot for the jetty closes I can tape off an area for Saturday.

I actually just booked the site last night it was one of the last ones left. I am in site 110.

Hell YES!!! Count On Me for Kayak Support/Anything Else You Need!!!  I've wanted to attend these events in the past but did other things   Now your in my backyard so to speak and I'm ALL IN ON THIS ONE!!!  last year the crabbing was off the hook crazy good!!!  All I did was sit on the beach and guard the "cooler" it helped being full of BigJ's brewzikis

Can't wait for this one...It means something to a LOT of PEOPLE!!! lets "Get Some"

 Were Rolling... just spent my morning setting out lines to the VA, WTU, Fish and game, and Sonoma County parks...

we already have a bite from the VA ...

and the day fishing permit is in the works...

I also have a campsite booked in HMBSP the Friday before the opener if anyone wants to join me in HMB! 

Looks like we may have to change this date....

I just spoke with a Parks Supervisor and they are concerned about how busy that day is...

I will be filling out  application for the 5th, but it is already sounding like a "No..."

so maybe the following weekend?

I think that's the wise choice, and I'm still a total go on this!!! I will let you know what kind of gear I can dig up. I will try to get as many rings as I can, there more interactive. I find it more fun to paddle around every 10 to 15 min and check rather than every hour. That's just me though.
