Hello ncka. Im a kayak angler from the east coast out in paso robles for job training for the next month. Id love to get out and fish on the weekend from a yak in the salt. Back home I have a hobie revo and a newly squired nu canoe I won at a yak tournament in va beach with a 31" red drum. If anyone has an extra yak and doesn't mind id taking me out id appreciate it. If not ill be hunting a rental place and hitting up walmart for gear.

PM Rhyak. He lives Atascadero and is one if the organizers of http://www.centralcoastkayakfishing.com/cckf/

October should have a few good WX days for ocean fishing and there are a few protected launches in the area. Lake fishing in the area is OK but better during the turnover in November-December.
