I will post the roll call in the next week or so but wanted to get this out ASAP for those who want to spend the night (or weekend) at the Caples event.
About a month or so ago I got a pm from Paddleboy84 which implied he could get us a great deal in the Caples area. Well I finally got a name and # and after a discussion this is what came of it:

"Hey Eric,
It was nice talking with you. Let me know what I can do for you to make your fishing trip successful. Get back to me. Be sure everyone books through me. Each condo has 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each bedroom sleeps up to three people."

The cost to those who will be joining this event will be $50.00 per night for each room that's right $50.00 per room per night (not person) so if the rooms sleep 3 that's $16.67 each or $25.00 per person if only 2 share a room. Even at $50.00 for a room to yourself it is still as cheap as some of the campsites I have stayed at.
If you're intrested in booking a room contact :

Xtreme Tours
(209) 612-4600

Be sure to let him know you will be in the Kayak event.

This is a great deal as we would have the place to ourselves and would be a great place for a NCKA mountain hookup. Also it is located about 1/4 mile from the ramp.
Thanks Paddleboy84

That's sweet. I think we should take the place over for the event.

That's the idea, I'm being told we can have the place to ourselves. Includes a game room and gathering area. This should hold as many as we can get.

This is an awesome deal! Is there  a launch site close by? Would we have to pay for the launch site?

Who wants to share a room with me? My wife may go to this one, so it would be the three of us. If she doesn't go, I guess we can still do three and split it. If no takers I'll just pick a side road and drive off a ways and camp in the forest.

What might that be Al?  So you are attending?

I, too, have something lined up but if I bring somebody with me, then we may end up doing this so as to not inconvenience Mr. Barefoot1.

Anyway you can have them block of some of the campsites? With the sites being first-come first-serve,  I would hate to roll-up in the RV and find out I have no place to park it....

If you could, I would be all in.....

I'm going up there next week so I will check out the camping situation. See how many people are there midweek etc. That should give a good idea what an August weekend will look like.
