looking at the imhooked.com thread, and HSUSteelie had enough sense to post "If not sure if I can/should copy the text of the report ", and then one of our brothers on both boards replied "Yeah, I'd say no on the copy of the text of the report."

Doesn't seem like a spammer.

If it was a case of a one-time lapse in judgment, let's forgive, form a consensus and move on.  No need for us to get a rope.
If I were to make a mistake (one-time lapse in judgment), I'd hope that the support I've received from this forum would also forgive me just the same.

Of course, if he's a lurker and has mal-intent, then maybe a flogging.   :smt003

Maybe I'm making too big of a deal out of it, but I feel very strongly about the bond we have created here.  There are members here with YEARS of salty, hard-earned experience and knowledge, and well...  if it's a choice between having those guys stop posting here, or banning some guy who only wants to take to prove a point....  the choice is an easy one.

He only put a link in his initial post and when others realized they couldn't view the info, he then questioned whether or not he should copy and paste the text.  To his credit, he didn't actually do it.

The weird part is that HSUsteelie reposted the report in their Kokanee Board...despite the fact no kokanee were caught LOL! I mean, either the dude is hard up for IVR info or has extreme selective memory...because there's a plethora of great reports w/lots of fish caught (including kokes) on this board.
Either way, the guy isn't really a contributing member of this site, and clearly is reposting proprietary info, so therefore: he's a LURKER! In this case, banning seems reasonable.
