I came straight here from KSBW 's site to post this but FM! was already on it!

Yeah, with all the positive press about the lake being at capacity, this is going to hurt the local area, to say nothing of the homes that use the lake as a reservoir. what a mess.

I thought brown trout counted toward AOTY?  :smt044

Seriously, that's a bummer. I never got to fish that lake when I was living there, but every time I drove by I thought it looked awfully "fishy."

A dive team swam 4,700 feet down to the submerged pipe Wednesday in an attempt to find the exact location where it broke.

Really?  Come on, the lake isn't that deep.  :smt012

That is a real bummer Andy.  Guess you're gonna have to join us at Clear Lake.  :smt003

Does this makes sense...?

"Water is still being released over the spillway because the percentage of sewage in the water is very small, officials said."

But don't touch, drink or do anything in the lake makes total sense.

Tahoe is only 1645 deep.
4700 feet?? Close to a mile..I think not.
I wonder what they really meant.
