Before reading further my initial reaction was that it was a fox too. Then looking at the pig pics made me second guess myself. I'm comparing the animals to the long piece of vegetation in front of the camera, which is in both shots. I wonder how big that weed is?

At first I was thinking rabbit with all the blurr. Then I used the outlined weed in the photo as a reference. It is the one thing in every pic that remains the same.
Looking at that in relation to the size of the pigs head I would think it is bigger than a fox and definitely not a rabbit.

Yeah, putting the camera out is like hunting on it's own. You need to find a spot that has activity, so reading and interpreting sign comes into play. Over the weekend I realized that I have the same feeling when I go back to check a crab-pot, the same anticipation.
I've yet to get a clear shot of a lion. This one has me leaning that way, though I'm not 100% sure of it. It's the size of it, foxes are pretty small, smaller than the pigs. The blur that looks like a foxtail might just be the lion tail caught during quick movement. Also, my camera takes 3 quick pics per trigger, and for only one frame to catch this thing, and blurred to boot... I think cat-like.
I wish I had looked for it's tracks. Had I known...

If it's bigger than a fox, then my next thought is mountain lion.

Use of the pig as a size reference is problematic. I've been around groups of pigs. They vary quite a bit in size. Without an object of known size as a reference it's pure guesswork.

With that said I'll have to change vote to Eric B in his costume.
