We will be running 2 trips back to La Paz in 2011, a spring time yellowtail trip and a fall yellowfin trip.

The dates are as follows:

   April 23-30   :   FULLY BOOKED!!!
   October 1-8  :   FULLY BOOKED!!!

These are Saturday to Saturday trips with fishing occurring for 6 days from Sunday to Friday.  Lodging (sleeping on the boat) is supplied for all days as is all the food (you are responsible for your own alcohol).

A typical week looks like this.

Saturday : Arrive in La Paz in the mid afternoon, provision up.  Hit the town.  Sleep on the boat in the harbor.

Sunday - Friday : Depart port first thing Sunday morning.  Your fishing begins.  The boat will go where the bite is.  The location will change from day to day depending on what species we are targeting and where the local intel says the bite is.  You captain is a local captain that has fished the area for 30+ years.  We have the ability to travel as far as 70-80 miles from port, although usually we don't need to go that far.  The boat travels at 6-7 knots which is perfect trolling speed, so even when we are moving, we are fishing!!!

A typical day is as follows.  Wake up, quick breakfast while the boat gets going to a spot for a morning sessions.  Mid-day break and possibly move depending on how the fishing is.  Afternoon session somewhere.  Late afternoon, head to a mooring in some protected bay with fantastic scenery.  Spend the rest of the day on anchor.  This is free time that is usually spent fishing the reefs, snorkeling, or going for a walk on the beach.  On Friday, we head back to port some time in the afternoon.   A shower is awesome after 6 days on the water.  Hit the town for dinner.  Sleep on the boat in the harbor.

Saturday : pack up and head to the airport for an afternoon flight.

Trips will be limited to 4 clients each and the cost will be $1700.

Fly down.  The most convenient is to fly into La Paz via LAX on Horizon Air.

Looks like Howard McKim is going to guide the fall trip for us!!!

I've updated the information in the original post.  Looks like the spring trip is booked and we only have 2 spots left in the fall.

That was quick.  Somebody came out of the woodwork with 1 spot left and now we're fully booked.

Let me check with those that said they wanted a spot as I haven't received down payments.

If there is interest I could always open another trip.  Anyone else interested?
