Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Hey Sumo, I had lunch with a bunch of former Marines today. We covered service from from the mid 80s to just a few years ago. We started telling stories as Marines always do. It's amazing how similar so many stories are no matter where/when people served.

Every time I get together with my buddies from the corps, the stories are always best.  The best stories are things that happened off duty.  :beer2

My best friend from USMC and I have a story from a night out that even his son asks about when we get together.  His son just turned eleven, and he was a newborn when it happened.  That is how much we talk about it, hahaha.

thanx Guys, 'preciate your thoughts.

i'm a vet who supports our serving men and women daily at work. today the branch manager came thru thanking each of us vets.(he's one himself, was a lower classmate of mine in AIT in fact)  3 of us stopped him, there was a green suiter walking thru the shop. we told Joe, " go tell that youngster "thank You". not us" he did.. surprised the kid at first but then she warmed up to his words real quick...

On behalf of 300 students and 45 staff members at my school and at our Veteran's Day assembly today, it is an honor to say thank you to all who have served our country!
