Brothers from my NCKA mother..
I recently acquired Thule Load Bars that came with 430/450 Tracker II foot (Thanks to our brother Hojoman aka Howard) and I purchased the TK1 kit for Trailblazer, I dont have the locking cylinder yet but on their way.. here is the question, Is it OK to put a kayak on top (with saddles) without the key? I need to pick up a kayak this weekend and want to make sure its safe.. Thanks!!

yep. you mean you don't have the locking cylinders? I use mine with the factory clips. It may get stolen but it won't fly off the car

Those locks are so cheap I can pick them with just about anything, so I didn't buy them for mine either.  What I'd like to do is put a bolt and nut in there or something so it cant be taken off so easily.  But really, dont believe that the locks are going to keep your rack safe, cause they are pretty crappy.

Ditto Al,

The locks are very cheap..

You don't have to worry Darius, you don't keep yaks long enough to have them stolen. :smt044
