I am gonna try to dive Timber Cove just down the road on Sunday AM.

The wife has put in a request for a plate of uni and a bottle of white wine for Sunday dinner, and my grandma is turning 90 in New Orleans on 09/11 and I want to give her at least one last abalone dinner!!!

Doubt the WX will let me paddle all the way out, but bringing the yak anyway and will paddle out and see, and at least anchor up as far away from the launch as I can and work the area for abs/uni/fish.

Should be at the beach between 7 and 8 am.

Plan on diving as long as I can, chilling at the beach with a few cold ones and some uni afterwards, and then driving home.

If Ocean Cove is not working and you want to try Timber on Sunday (should be sheltered enough to be doable), come on down!

I will have the radio on 69, but probably won't hear it since I will be in the water!!  I have a blue T15 and a pimped out red AbSnatcher boogie board.

Company welcome!!

 :smt006

Andy FM1, I expect to at least see you for a brew and some uni on the beach before I head home!!  :smt004

Sincerely,

Jim

My fishing partner seems to think Ft Ross would be a better bet first though I am more comfortable with the launch at OC.  I am going to try and talk him into going there first so that we can setup camp and then get on the water.  Hopefully there will be enough spots to camp and we will be doing beers, corn and fish tacos in the evening- was going to try and rustle up some mussels too though not sure if that is legal or not...
