Will confirm on Fri. But Bella is showing all the earmarks of being pregnant.Extended belly, extended teets and a craving for ice cream and dill pickles. Mated her with a beautiful sire named Sindbad from S. San Francisco who is also one hell of a Retriever. Also a blond that I think will help to make a great litter. Cross your fingers and lets hope we have  conception.

Oh, how I want one of Bell'as puppies!!!! But, a year later im still not in the right place in life to take on a dog... :smt010  Maybe if my house sells really quickly and I find a place that lets me have one, i'll be barking up your door!  Otherwise, maybe the next of kin??

Frank, your a dog person, another plus in my book.  We have a three year old blk lab that's part of the family and loves to hunt and fish.
Congradulations on your coming litter, Bill

Thanks Bill. That's another reason why during our initial contact I knew I liked you. Bella is the third female Lab that I have had in oh.... thirty years; that has had a litter. It's amazing to me how their temperament changes once they have a litter.
Our Black,Jake, was put down approximately a month or so after Bella arrived due to his hips but that was due to his age of 14 yrs.

Jake belonged to my daughters (from Santa 1993 or so) and I guided him for that purpose. He was known as a very friendly dog however, bit a guy on the ass once for coming to close to the girls when they were young well they were playing in the yard. Was offered a bunch of money for him by a couple of people but without a thought the offers were declined. We miss him Dearly..... Oh, and by the way Bella was around Jake for the first couple of months when she was first brought home. Jake was Bella's Alpha.
