I have put off buying wheeleez for several years now. Man thing I guess. However, now that I have signed up for the Catalina trip, it looks like I do not have a choice but to buy a set. It is looking to me like the Kayak Cart Beach is probably the best all around bet.

Opinions? Like, dislike?

I've tried both std & beach, they both work.
If you deal with more sand, the beach wheels (though bulky) just cant be beat. The standard cart works over all other terrain except for deep sugar sand.
As far as longevity, I wore out one standard cart after about 10 years hard use. I've saved it for parts & could rebuild it if I got a new axle. The issue with it is that the standard black knobby wheels don't have bearings & eventually grind the axle tube down if they get a grain or two of sand in there.
