I've graciously been invited to participate in the July show at the Davenport Gallery on highway 1 in Davenport.
The show theme is art using wood as the main component. I have three new pieces on display, and they will be up until the end of the month. There will also be a show party the evening of the 17th from 6-9pm, so pop in if you are taking the 1 north after the Pay it Forward paddle!

All three pieces are done on 1940's era clear redwood panels, with burned and painted images. I used elements of Pacific Northwest formline style, and mixed in a little Maori and polynesian body art influences.

To give you an idea, the titles of the pieces are "Norcali Hali", "Vermilion and octopus", and "King salmon with anchovies" (shown below).
Hope you like....

Sean, awesome art work brother. I really dig the Haida and Tlingket totem animals. Your variation is real soothing. If I get down to SC I will definetly stop by on the way home. Craig

Thanks you guys!

Matt-send me a pm,pricing for a piece like that depends on the logo design, colors, lots of variables. But, if it can be replicated on a slab of wood I'm game to try it.

here's another teaser, my "Norcali Hali". I tried to capture the brawler attitude some of these fish have.
