Thats unless you get hit by XP Defender Pro 10..... Thats a really bad malware...

I was listening to the pres of a computer security firm from Sac being interviewed. His belief, and it makes sense, is that anti-virus software is essentially limited to good hygiene. Meaning that if someone wants to infect your system, they will. They have all the existing anti-virus software on their shelf to code against. So really, we're just protecting against what is known, not the next nasty bit. He also made the comment that Russian hackers had made more from bank fraud than the Columbain drug cartels had from drugs. Maybe he was getting carried away, but the point is valid.

Thanks for the mention of Malwarebytes, btw. I'll check it out.

So how is Mac with computer games? Or are they just mainly for the PC crowd?

I've been thinking my next computer might just be a Mac also.

I like the PS 3 idea, then I can tell my wife we needed a blu-ray Disk player. :smt002
I have had this computer a long time and keep updating it but with the HD video's so available to watch I think my next one will be a Mac.
This one has been about upgraded all it can.

Allen, if you didn't get the 3 year warranty, does the machine come with a standard 1 year coverage?

No big deal, but picking up lots of friends along the way is.
