Launch - 7:00am
Check-in - 1:00pm
Lunch & Prizes - 1:30pm - I will supply Hot Dogs, Chips and drinks
    (If you would like to bring extras for a pot luck - feel free)
Top anglers determined by Photo of single largest Bass on weigh board (AOTY format)
Please DO NOT bring fish to check-in
  (If you don't have a camera pair with someone who does)
In the event of a tie the leader will be decided by a coin toss
I have the final decision and All Decisions are final.

I recall it being mentioned that Clear Lake now has boat inspections.  Anybody want to save a brother from having to go dig it up?   Does it even apply to kayaks?

The Board of Supervisors has improved the Lake County Invasive Mussel Prevention Program by passing Lake County Ordinance 2915 to better protect the water bodies of the County from possible quagga and zebra mussel infestation.

This ordinance:

Requires a mandatory screening that includes a physical inspection for any water vessel prior to launching in a Lake County water body.   All vessels are required to obtain either visitor compliance bands or resident inspection stickers prior to launching.
Applies to all motorized and non-motorized vessels that are trailered.  It does NOT apply to canoes, kayaks, car-top boats, float tubes, rafts, wind surfers/boards, and boogey boards.
Establishes a fee of  $10.00 for each vessel.
Bans the disposal of live bait and any liquid that contains or has contained live bait into Lake County water bodies.

boils down to:
no inspection necessary for us. don't dump your live bait into the water.  for anyone who is going, be smart and make sure she's clean and dry. imagine CL getting mussels - they would spread like wildfire and destroy one of the best bass fishing lakes in the entire country.

not sure what exactly it means if you "trailer" your kayak though.

I'm camping at state park.  I have a site reserved and space available if anyone wants to share. Site 61, right next door to Darius for Friday/Sat night. 

I will be at Kelsey Creek Site 60 State Park...

I'll be there at Kelsey Creek in space #54 Friday and Saturday nights.  Dilbeck +1 (Mendez) in same space.  Counting the days!
