Mooch,

Molly Stones in San Mateo does it for $8.00 first Monday or Wednesday of every month.  Wrap it in a towel and and place a rubber band around it.  Fill out a form at the butcher shop and leave it with them, come back in a week.

alternative, sometimes there is a guy at the Belmont Farmers Market on Sunday Mornings.  He sharpens almost anything.  I don't remember what he charges.

the Nob Hill markets in my hood do it as well. I am pretty sure most markets that have actual butchers will do it. Mooch just wear a nice sun dress when you ask. I'd also think a good fish market would help a fishing bro out.

Mooch, get a large stone dude. It will be just as cheap as having it honed one time. Then build a little box for the stone to set in................... wait maybe thats too much. Just get a stone. You are going to need one when you have to fillet all your clients fish. Thats included , right? :smt006 :smt044
