I re-thunk my crate/ghetto bar for my OK Malibu Two XL.

The ghetto bar looked like this.

The Super Crate looks like this.

I position the crate just past my feet using 2 snap links to pad eyes where the ghetto bar was.

I padded the bottom of the crate with 1/4 in. floor mat foam so it won't slide or scratch the yak.

I used the same type foam for a top that is held shut using bungee cord.

Using PVC technology :smt002 I made removable mounts for FF,VHF,Camera,Compass,Beer Cozies and LED nav. lite.

The horizontal 1&1/2 in. ABS pipe rod holder allows me to troll or drift off either side or 2 rods using
the scottys as well.

2 phone cord/velcro rod leashes are attached to the crate.

Inside the crate and tethered are; lip gripper, pliers, knife and a small cutting board.

Also inside are 4 vert. 1&1/2 in. ABS pipe holders for; rods, net, gaff or head knocker.
(I don't usually keep spare rods or net on this crate, those are usually on the rear crate that holds my anchor system and bait bucket.)

It will hold up to 4 large tackle trays if necc.  and will breakdown so all components will fit inside, but I usually just keep it assembled for easy on /off :smt001

Those I keep go with the beer in the blue soft sided cooler in front of it, you can see it in the last video.

I know, I may have over thunk it, or I'm losing my mind :smt003

Thats a sweet set-up!  I was going to buy a gear setup, but I think I'll save some money making my own.  Thanks!
