A bit off topic I know but I got some pretty good info from you all last time...

Omar's birthday is coming up at the end of this month, he'll be 8 years old, and he wants to have a party with his skate buddies.  Do you happen to know of an indoor skate park that might be able to host a small birthday party, I wouldn't think there would be more than about 5 or 6 kids.

I've never been to an indoor skate park but somewhere that has a concession stand and would allow a cake to be brought in would be cool.

I went into Action sports, over by Aquan, a couple of times but I can't remember if they mentioned having a skate park...I'll have to give them a call.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No indoor parks in the bay area that I am aware of. The closest one that I know of is Epic indoor skatepark in Sacto.

There are a ton of outdoor parks though, why not just crash one and have some cake there? Lake Cunningham is nice but will cost $. Sunnyvale, some east San Jose parks are cool as well.

outdoor ones are the only ones locally I have seen. There is one in Campbell (Campbell Ave) one block north of Winchester. One in Mt View at Rengstorff Park. There is another in Palo Alto (its a bowl) in the back of Greer Park on W. Bayshore.

Thanks for the info guys, I thought I had heard there were some indoor parks around here.

I wouldn't mind an outdoor park but his birthday is Jan 30th, the weather isn't exactly predictable and I dont want to be blamed if the kids get hurt skating on the wet cement...things aren't like the gool ol' days when it wasn't really an injury unless you needed a ride in an ambulance.  I'm also lazy and was hoping to have a concession stand around rather than having to bring food.  :smt003

Omar's been to Cunningham a few times, but I haven't been there with him so I don't know what it's like.  Do they have a concession stand?  The park in Mtn. View has the taco stand across the street which is good so that might be an option.

Thanks.

List all the skateparks in Norcal. If you have any questions on a specific one let me know, I have ridden most of them.

Why you gotta clown!   :smt003

Are you hating on Roller Boogie?  I bet they had a concession stand.

In Pacifica there is Log Shop they have a indoor half pipe and allow bday partys. Down the block is also a pretty nice outdoor skate park. I've been to a bday party at the Log Shop and the kids had a great time. They even supplied a worker to help out the kids that can't really skate well. The Log Shop is located on Crespi Drive.
