Left around 7:30am this morning from Alameda with 2 friends. The bay was pretty flat until we hit the GG bridge. As we approached Pt. Bonita, it was an amazing site, there were some big waves breaking and there was no Bonita channel in the morning. We can also see the south bar breaking. We stayed in the channel all the way out. We hung a right at the end of the shipping channel and make our way to our string in 130' h2o. We had to worked a little harder today for 3 limits. We pulled 10 pots to get 3 limits and it looks like someone poached our string because cottong string that I used to tied the escape ring was cut except for 1 end that was not cut. Overall it was a nice day out there with some good friends. On our way in, we can see that the swell came down a little bit and the bonita channel was not breaking at all. Here are some pics and happy belated new year to everyone.
