Last night my GF of many wonderful years asked what are "our" plans were for the weekend. I replied that we are fishing.

She replied with "if you love me you won't go fishing"

My reply "I do love you and I will while I am fishing"

My Question.... Do I go fishing at Oakland Airport or China Camp?

My Question.... Do I go fishing at Oakland Airport or China Camp?

What was the response after your reply if you don't mind to share?   

My wife demands i go deer and pig hunting. She loves to eat meat and wants the fat free meat from the deer and pigs so she can keep her figure.
she also asked me to go fishing for the humbolt squid as she loves eating them to. And diving for crabs.
So there are a few of those special wonderful women out there, you just have to keep looking and then treat them right when ou find them.

Brudah' Mooch, did you even go 11 times in that four year span? .....i think NOT.
i equate it to shore fishing.....cast and wait......the main reason i converted to kayak hunting.

~now as i peer out the window from my warm, dry cube, I can almost see ChinaCamp from here......
Can i start my bitchin&moanin now? cuz i'm not feeling very motivated right now

yes I have. I've covered many spots as well (Coyote Point,San Mateo Bridge,Oyster Point, China Camp, Black Point and Bucks Landing) Believe me, I've put in my time and that's why I vowed I'd never to do it again. BUT FOR YOU, I'll do it one more time

I would honestly rather fish from shore (and BBQ) for sturgeon rather than fish it from a kayak. Perhaps, launch a kayak, drop the bait, paddle back and fire up the grill??  Hmmmmmmmm.....going back to the roots of shore fishing doesn't seem so bad after all  I can bring a blanket so we can cuddle and stay warm too
