A while back Keo/I LIKEY FISH asked about starting a chat room on NCKA so I thought why not? So this is it.

When you log on to NCKA click on this thread and post up anything you want.....but please no political stuff including MLPA. If you've got something really heavy and potentially contentious then just start a new topic.

If you post & hang out on the thread and you have your user name enabled for other members to see it probably won't be too long before someone posts back and we could chat about stuff and maybe get to know one another a little better. The better we know one another the more respect for each other will grow. At least that's my hope. Thanks guys,  :smt001 jim

Over on the motorcycle website called Thumpertalk they started one and it was pretty successful. You've just helped me illustrate exactly how it works. You posted a response to my post and now I just hit you back. It's simple. Right now when I clicked on the thread I only saw my user name at the top plus one guest. If, for example, I saw your user name up there I could have posted "Hey Yakuza what's up. JAI BOI! How's it going for you this evening?" etc.

Hey Porky! I love that print of the diving diva. Where did you get that? Can we buy it as a print?

Also when you buy a crab gauge double check it with a tape measure or something. I bought both the blue plastic Danielson and the Promar aluminum one and they are both coming up short of 5 & 3/4". More like 5 & 5/8".

When I was surfing Doran last weekend the park rangers were checking everybody and one guy didn't have a gauge. Neither did the ranger! The ranger borrowed mine and the dude got a ticket for over-limit, 12, and under-sized as two crabs were only 5"er's. I'm just going to file mine out to the correct length in case I run into a ranger that actually has his own gauge.  :smt003 jim
