I think they're following me...

So I'm at the gym today on my lunch break. I run on the ellipticle or treadmill during my lunch hours. So, I randomly grab a magazine just to put over the display of the ellipticle, because the actual time 30 minutes takes is directly correlated to how many times you look at the timer while running.

About ten minutes into my run I happen to look down at the magazine and there is a large goose staring menacingly down at me. Next to the goose are words that say something to the effect of "I am not a meal or a pillow. I am a LIVING BEING: JUST LIKE YOU"!

Turns out it was PETA's "Animal Times" propaganda. I couldn't help but smile. I was gonna sign up the original subscriber to receive Cabelas catalogues...but their name was blacked out of the little sticker.

That would be a waste of a perfectly good current Cabela's catalog.....drop a used-last year's addition in the dude's car window.    jim

When I went back to the gym yesterday afternoon I looked for the magazine because I was actually going to check it out and see what kind of propaganda was in it. I couldn't find it so I grabbed an ESPN magazine to hide the display of the ellipticle.

Finished my run, put the magazine back, wiped down the machine, went to throw away the wipes, look down in the trash and what do I see? A large goose staring menacingly down at me....lol.

Looks like somebody else in my gym feels the same way I do about the PETAfiles.

I like to stay close to large, living being, geese.........in my frigging down jacket, that is.  There's a special warmth there.
