So stoked right now! I just picked up my new 2009 Tarpon 140.
Sure is pretty. I'll have to come up with a nice name for her.
Let the pimpin begin! I already installed a flush mount Scotty in the console haha.

Nice looking yak.  The seat looks very comfy!  Post some more pictures after you're done pimping it  :smt003

looks great sin. looking forward to watching it evolve.
I know its hard to be patient when it comes to outfitting a new boat but I think we are going to see more attachments to fit in the slide trax system in the future.
good luck with the pimpin

That is awesome Pat. I know you have done a lot of research on your next
purchased. I can't wait to see what it is going to look like afterwards.
Congrats on the new ride dude.

So desperate is this man to catch a halibut, he tried changing rigs, he tried changing baits, he tried changing depths, he tried changing rod, he tried changing reel, he tried changing his underwear.

I don't think changing your yak is gonna help either fella.

(but if it does, can i borrow it?).

I was told it would be faster because it's red.  :smt007

Before I bought it (after lots of research), I stashed my 7' one-piece rod through the middle hatch...just to make sure it would fit. That was the final straw---had to buy it after that. And the ability to easily store rods below deck was a major requirement for my new yak---necessary for rough surf launch/landings.

The seat is ridiculously comfy. Reeeeeediculous! It's even raised above the seatwell, to minimize crotchrot on 8+ hour days in the salt.  :smt005

I am bummed they don't have more accessories for the Slide trax yet. But I have confidence they'll come out w/some great stuff soon. Although, I've already decided to mount the FF on the right footwell--fits perfect (I normally use the micro RAM mounts).

My only complaint is the seal on the front hatch doesn't stay in there. It fell out when I was merely opening the hatch. So I glued it in there nice and tight. It's completely water-tight.

:smt007 Sweet ride, Pat!  That's what I've been eyeballing for my 2nd yak (once my WAF account reaches an appropriate level).  Looking forward to seeing it on the water!

I can attest---this is true :smt044

Beauty kayak Sin Coast, I can't wait to see it get customized. WS has added some cool features & changed a few things from the 2005 model I've got.

One thing they kept is the sleek overall design, it totally shows in the whole boat pic.
