Hey Folks,

I am pretty much fully finished rigging my T13.  I have a couple of pad eyes to install for my rear seat mount and some work to do on my plano box...and in the future i am considering a lighting system for night fishing, but i'm pretty much done otherwise.  I "stole" "ideas" from others such as SBD, Pat R, Stormscrambler and yakhopper.  much kudos gentlemen.

The cockpit with Humminbird 565

Thru Scupper transducer

Rear scotty round flush mount before I installed the other flushmount..

Rear scotty round flush mounts + rocket launcher style flush mounts

Rear scotty flushmount with rigger

Rod Pod mounted round flushmount - I feel this is my one mistake with my rigging.  It is too far back and the rod hits me.  It works as a rod balancer however if you turn my rod holder around. If I were to do it again, I'd put it farther forward and maybe use a compact threaded flush mount.

Back pad eye for anchor trolley - not currently using the anchor so the trolley system is offline for the moment

Front Pad eye for anchor trolley

Two cleats for anchor trolley rope

Two scotty compact threaded mounts up front

ff cables in from the transducer deck plate

ff cables in from the ff/sonar shield - I used a 1" computer grommet - seems to be working well for water resistance so far, not 100% waterproof but its not bad and it was dirt cheap.

Standard OK battery bag with the T13 - my 10AA battery holder lies within.

Shimano Livewell Bag with cheap pvc pipe as rod holders

Overall I am very happy with my T13 and feel it is pretty much a fishing machine now.  I have some pics that show the scupper transducer but can't figure out where I put them.  Might be in my dead flash card from when i salted my old camera.

Nice job Ben. Thanks for sharing. I too have taken some great ideas from others
when I was working on my T13. Too many people to thank actually for paving the
road for us new comers.

Thanks again,

I also regretted the rod holder on the rod pod. I did mount mine closer to the sonar shield but still it got in the way. So I removed it and covered the hole with a deck mounted compass which I use all the time. So you may have that as an option. Since you mounted it dead center flipping the rod pod cover 180 degrees won't help. Looks great! If/when my ff dies I'll be getting the 565

yeah eric, we talked about that at new brighton.  rod pod mounted rod holders are not the best idea in the world =)

those two front compact threaded mounts are nice for me, and could probably work as a rod balancer for sturgeon since i use long rods.

my only problem with those is that they tend to block my FF screen.  I am thinking about adding some ram ball mounts that plug into those scotty mounts.  if i'm downrigging then i need the strength of the scotty mount though.

i went with two ram balls in the space between the sonar shield and rod pod. One for a rod holder (the straight tube kind) the other for my GPS. I think I need to put in a backing plate for the rod holder side. I flexes a bit to much for my liking.

Bassmanben on the rod pod flush mount you could always remove it and install a cutting board in its place.

Thanks Aaron, I actually had one of these installed previously but had to remove it because it prevented me from reaching the front rod holders. :smt002

on the pod pod mount take it off now cause it will get in the way and piss you off later ask me how i know.

It doesnt really bother me since its flush.  As long as there is no rod holder in it its no prob.

Nice job on the rigging. Given me more ideas. So many choices but only one kayak to pimp.
