I think most of the guys I hook up with need to watch themselves. Every time we go fishing and come back to chil and chow........before long most of them slur! I'll give them a warning for you lol.
Seriously I think most people honor basic respect. We can disagree but still respect one another.

Getting back to the original topic......

One way to get yourself banned is to register at NCKA and post a blatant commercial ad for your very first post.

Get the F... outta here!!!!

There's a theory (strongly supported) in social sciences that humans are instinctively tribal, and the basic reaction is to fight (and kill) those from other tribes. As soon as more than a few people get together, they start to exhibit this behavior. I'm not studied in social science but it seems to make sense.

This is on the back of my mind when the NCKA tribe gets together on the water and there are PB's tribes nearby.

of origin.  Well, maybe country of origin, I am an american, and feel free to hack on me.  My pedigree includes most european countries, some south american countries, and am pretty sure there is a canadian in there that married for citizenship back in the late 1800's.

12 years into publishing kayak fishing BBS/Forums, I find this discussion hilarious.  I don't often claim I've experienced it all but, in this case I have...to date.  Hate mails, death threats, a detailed "death wish" and more unkind posts and unsolicited sales pitches than any one site should have to deal with.

NCKAers should know that, IMHO, your forum is among the top 2 (high volume KF forums) in the country in regards to class and truly serving anglers as opposed to individual egos.  A heckuva job by Bill and the contributors that dozens of other forums have failed to accomplish nationwide.  It's possible that more KF web sites have come and gone than exist today.  I wish I had more time to log on to NCKA, I rarely get a chance to surf the web.

HELP!!! A (long) while back, I took a salmon image from a forum member and promised him a gaff.  I have no idea who it was and could use some help locating him????

Fishing Ocean Cove is in the am plan for Thursday, company welcome.  c. 818-970-2392

I fished Tomales yesterday.  It turned into a fiasco in large part due to harrassment from Park employees at Pt Reyes.  I ended up having to paddle 5 miles into the wind to prevent a search and rescue. It all ended well though.  The halibut bite in the bay is flat for me and the boaters I talked to, one guy looked for 4 days straight.

Loading kayaks, an NCKAer walked up to us and told us about the 14' white shark that had just buzzed their little boat with its mouth agape.  He was a little blown away.

That says a lot right there! Thanks Dennis! And I'm glad we have you on board as well

Attn NCKA: let's keep this class act going - so that the future generation of NCKA'ers can look back at what we've done to preserve "da good vibe" and hopefully continue the tradition  salut

Thanks Spike.  I respect your opinion.  You've been there from the birth of modern kayak fishing and you personally inspired me to get into the sport.
