I wonder if anybody has tried a hollow metal tube like from a wind-chime? Might sinker fast and make a ling-attracting noise when bounced on rocks. I know people use rebar because it makes a noise but I wonder about a wind-chime type lure.
That just gave me an idea. I'll be back...

I made my first two, and it took longer than I thought.  I will try to post a little later on.  Even with som high end drill bits it took a while, then I ahd to grind down the ends witht he dremel that also took a while.  I had a problem with bit wandering, even though a I used a center punch.  SS is harder to drill then I would of thought.  Of course using a handrill takes more out of you.

You guys have inspired me.  I finally hit up Goodwill, broke out the drill, hack saw and a couple files and turned out my first batch.  I can't wait until may to put them to the test....of course until then I still have another 50 knives to work on.

Dem's so purdy, Ifj!  :smt007 I like the add-ons: skirts, grubs & such. Looks that much fishier.
I'm working on some pipe jigs - modified forms of the copper pipe jig.
