I would definately be down for a kayaking/camping/bowhunting trip... I'm a little less interested in a shotgun trip, simply because when I gun hunt, I prefer to do it on private property (much safer).  How about November'ish?  The pig hunting is always better at the begining of the season before they start to get pressured... might be a good time for fall bass'n too...

I am interested. I just got myself a new bow. Well, new to me that is. My guided hunts up on the property will be over the week before the pig opener so I will be free of those commitments. Let's see if we can put this together.

We should plan a kayak bowhunting/camping trip.  If the timing is right, we can do some fishing and shroom hunting too.

Mahi, Brian -- Do you guys own a bow?

Backcountry -- Thanks for the Lake Sonoma info.  I was going to look that up.

I'm not a bow hunter. Down for the mushroom hunting and camp out.

I haven't hunted in years, but I'm really considering it this season. Hmmmm. I like the sound of camp/hunt/fish/shrooms idea.  :smt001 I've been wanting to do something like that for a while now. I used to camp/bass fish there years ago. Being it's only an hour away, so much the better. Hey Chucke, let me know if you want to go shroom hunting this year. That's one of my other obsessions  :smt007

Well, as usual, as soon as I start planning for something, Murphy pops his head up. Yesterday I got marching orders from work to be in Vegas November 16 - 21. So, if this happens on the opener, then I am out of it.

But, keep me up to date BC. I would still like to do this even if I miss the opener.
