I'd also like to dive with someone who has more experience than Art and Joel...it's time I learn a little something from someone who actually knows what they're doing.

That hurt  :smt009

What time you splitting on friday?  I'd like to dive on Thursday or Friday and contribute a few abs to the potluck then hit it again on sunday for a go home limit.  So far I've only used 3 tags  :smt010

I'm down to join the dive party on friday/saturday/sunday. I'll plan on donating my abs from friday and saturday.

Hi P

I would take a Adv. Diving Class. I did the Sunken Tuna Boat off of Can 1in San Diego in about 130 Ft. and I was a Nat. Geo. Moment.
I would also join a Dive club to fine buddies who will take you under their wing.

Ernie,

Angel(pacifico) is the president of a local dive club called dive club.  He's got some pretty weird behavior standards set for its members and all kinds of crazy rules about how members are to conduct themselves in public and on the internet. I suspect that Joel is a member and possibly BrianG but they're not allowed to reveal their involvement publicly, very hush hush. I revoked my own application when they told me the initiation process included a sheep named betty.

Fellas, something else to think about.....we should try and disperse the concentration of divers in the water plucking abs or fish out of respect for the locals.  I will try and hit a spot on my way north, will develop a game plan on monday.

Hi Art:

It's still good idea to take a Cert. Class even if your "Mike Nelson". I didn't know P was busting your Chops. I thought he was a nubee because of the way he posted looking for other divers than yourself.
Do you still have my old wetsuit? I hope it works for you.

I'm not sure if he was bustin my chops, I think he's serious.  He didn't seem too happy when I told him I didn't want to be in dive club and he was downright pissed when I told him I was calling the ASPCA. :snorting: :tongue2: :kermit: :munky2: :grommit: :dog: :bunny: :cat: :cat: :albino: :smt002

I still have the suit but only used it once before switching over to an open cell freedive suit.  Was thinking about getting certified and using it for scuba but I'm not sure how likely that will be...at least in the immediate future.

Did they change the rules for getting abs in July? I am still under the assumption that it is closed this month but if not I need to get up there soon.

I have an extra iron you can use. Remember you must have a guage with you also.

I know nothing of a dive club. I don't use a beaver tail suit. I don't use a camo suit. I don't use 7mm.

Ernie, that was me who led your Adv. Diving Class.   Also, because of my extreme diving abilities I haven't been able to find a dive club that allows me to dive with them.   :smt003

I have to drop Omar off at camp at about 8AM.  I'll be taking off immediately after that.  If you're down to dive somewhere on the way up/down let me know.
