The bad news is that the P15 will now be considered a classic line (discontinued) :smt011 BUT on the bright side, the Scupper Pro is back on the assembly line due to popular demand :smt002

The Trident 13 and 11 will be the latest additions to the Trident class!!!

specs:

T13:
L - 13'6"
W - 29.5
Weight - 60lbs
Capacity - 425-475 lbs
* rod pod and sonar shield
* Adjustable foot braces instead of molded-in footwells

T11:
11' 5"
30.5
54 lbs
350-400lbs
* rod pod but no sonar shield
* Adjustable foot braces instead of molded-in footwells

Still waiting for OK to make longer and narrrower kayaks for the "long distance / trolling kayak fishermen" :smt002

Who wants to buy my collector's item P-15?  (kidding)

I'm very interested in adding a T-11 or T-13 to my quiver... let me know when they come in Mooch!

Joel,

I'm pretty sure you're one of only a few in this potential market of yours.   Most of us are happy taking a few extra seconds to get out to our favorite bass, trout, striper, rockfish spot.  Oh yeah, and still being able to turn is a plus.

I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on the new Tridents someday soon.

Hey just in case people didn't see Jim Sammon's post of a similar nature.. despite Mooch's post title, you won't have to wait until 2009 to get your hands on these.

From Jim Sammon's post..

These new models should be in your shops by the end of July if not sooner.

Any upgrades on the Pro?  I'd be (am) in the market for a long distance boat.  Per your suggestion, I think it's gonna be a T160.  Just not sure if its more efficient than the Pro.

The 160i is a rocket...a sweet paddling rocket.  It is however storage impaired.

I'm with ya Mooch...my P15 gets it done, but my poor little arms are TIRED by the end of a long trolling day.  My next boat is very, very likely a Hobie...maybe even a Hobie AI.

Fav quote from my climbing days "he's got arms like a fly"

I went to undergrad at Colorado School of Mines and was pretty into climbing while a student there.  My nickname was "The Albatross" because I was pretty skinny, 6'1", and all arms (wingspan, not brute strength).
