nice catch.  I got my halibut 2 weeks ago drifting just north of ferry point in about 12 feet of water. where a bouts did you get your halibuts.  I noticed party boats drifting near the end of the rock wall and also just north of the green buoy. I'd like to try again soon and your intel could help me increase my odds.

Nice one Don, I hit the Richmond Br, Marin side, launch at the new shore parking next to rod and gun, paddle out to the fleet working 30 fow, sabiki a half dozen secret shiner agents under the bridge first.
CRAZY water, waves crashing over the side, had to keep the scupper tubes out got lots of "Damn, look at THAT!" from the party boats, no fish for me, the PBs were telling me it was slow, great place to fish, will try again soon. My vhf is on the fritz, too bad, I could raise you and Duane and anyone at Paradice.
Congrats on your fish.

Where did you get that measuring device and where do you store it on the Hobie when fishing?

I was told these Storms are a new bait,

 Guess that's not true.

as far as storing the measuring board, i just feed it between the bungee on the back, no problem..

Duane never made it to paradise, Mark showed up late and they went to ARW,

and I know that Mark picked up a 24", and Dwane had 1 shaker

I was trying to reach you on the VHF, guess I know now why it did not work,

That's kool ya made your own shinners,

Catch ya next time.......

Very nice halis and congrats!!! I used those swimbaits 2-3 years ago and didn't have much luck. Guess I wasn't fishing them right.

Nice haul roomy.  I had the same experience as others with those.  I have a package with one missing in the bottom of my tackle box.  I could not even get a rockfish to bite it when I tried.  Maybe you are just that good  .  I better try again.
