Spent the weekend at Tomales fishing and freediving with a few friends.  Steve shot 4 halibut, I shot 4 halibut, Derek shot 3 halibut, and Greg caught one  halibut on a live shiner.  Great weekend of diving and fishing.   The fish ranged from 14-22 lbs.  The salmon bite was not at all happening.  It has to pick up sooner or later.

We fish in both the mouth of the bay and down the bay by Hog Island.  We only dive the mouth of the bay on the bar because the visibility down the bay is almost never good enough to spearfish.
