been kayak fishing a few times in the bay, @ santa cruz (during tornaments),and @ linda mar (once) but I dont have a fish finder on my yak(yet) and this makes me feel like im fishing blind.  Any ways, while browsing google satellite maps, I noticed that water currents are quite visible, as well as sediment deposits in and outside the bay, but I am not sure if reefs are identifiable from changes in water coloration.  Do you guys think these maps can help me in locating fish?
