its the bombproof gear security. everything being neatly stored and secured in hull is very functional. you can get slammed and maytaged without the worry of lost gear.
Besides that boat is so very Aquaman.

i do a lot of free-diving from my yak but i still prefer the tank-well. i dont like having to expose my inner-hull to access my gear.

The guy that bought it is a freediver...they prefer the 2 hatch so he is happy.  It will have a full life killing fish if Justin is on it, he is a STUD.

Freedivers LOVE the double hatch. :smt102 You will see a lot of veteran freedivers still using the old Scupper Pros for that very reason.
I prefer to have a tank well.

Wait, I have been freediving for a long time and I love having the tankwell in my scupper pro. I take my belt off in the water and sling into the well and thats nice. My fins, faceplate, irons, and gun are all in the well. No hatch covers to deal with. I let my goodie bag hang over the side (underwater Ha Ha).  I keep all my rods and tackle in the front hatch. After diving then I fish. My first sit on top was a mallotte scout2 front and rear hatches and I wore through the fiberglass putting my belt in and out.1974. They have come along way. The t15 is a barge. I am kind of sorry I didn't go with the WS t160. After a short paddle on Terry's one day should have convinced me. Duh!
