I got my refund on the spot. No harm other than denial of viewing benefit.

BTW, the helo in BC's third, fourth, and six pictures is the model R-44 chopper that we booked through Bay Aerial.  Must have been the morning flight.  Man, I'm hot for missing my flight.  feel totally punk'd
Searching for fish I am.

As you should!  I'd still be stewed.  If it makes you feel any better, I'm sure the curse of NCKA has been placed on them.  Maybe end of year AOTY party at thier pad! :smt044   Pun intended.

Hmm... when the Coast Guard chopper was flying around in the early afternoon, I heard the CG cutter on the VHF (CH. 81 I think) warn the CG chopper, "watch out for the Robinson - BREAK - Robinson is all over the place and won't maintain recommended altitude".

I guess its a darn good thing we didn't go with him.  Chalk it up to bad luck = good luck.

John Lull lives there and works for CCK. He wrote a book about kayak navigation and safety.
A long time ago they had a picture on the wall in the store. It was cut out from the Cronicle. He was sitting in a 'yak holding up a large cabezon. This was in the early "90's.
There's quite a few locals there that kayak a lot.
