Competitive XC Hardtail
DESIGNED TO FLY With a FACT carbon or M5® alloy frame, the Stumpjumper® is designed to fly with unbeatable efficiency, super low weight and precision handling that’ll guide you through even the stickiest of situations.

Inside Tech
TECH We’ve been continually refining the Stumpjumper for over two decades, and by now, we’ve tweaked and tuned the frame materials we use to the point of near perfection (yet, as great as they are, we’re always pushing to make them better.) Today’s FACT carbon or M5 alloy hardtails both feature completely proprietary frame materials that have been developed by our engineers for unparalleled efficiency, low weight and precision handling.

It is a swEEEEEeeeet rig.  Now if I wasn't such a FB!  The trail at the lake is so perfect for the bike too.  I'll take some helmet cam footage.

Mooch,

I'm gonna have to say that I think they're different fish.  The large mass is on the left of your fish but on the right of Terry's.  I'm thinking there are multiple fish in Mendo with large mass's.

Terry:

That deformity looks like scoliosis.  Fish often get this.  Has to do with calcium deposition problems in early development.  We scientist called those fish cricked backs (with a southern draw).

I called it a mass due to the bulge being symetrical on both sides.  But a calcium deposit would make sense. I was suspecting some type of bowel obstruction or lesion. I didnt palpate it so my assessment is just visual.
Mooches picture looked as though the deformity was having an effect on the fishes development and would make sense with the spinal involvment.
thanks for the info
