The deal with people putting engines in yaks is because it's incredibly fast and fun.

Never done it and never will.

However.

"The Worlds' Fastest Indian"

Is a good movie for the whole family.

  I hope "they" dont refer to that thing as a kayak. But if so im really not surprised.   I remember when the mirage system boats hit the shops and we were comparing them to a pedal boat for a kids summer camp or a park and refused to recognize it as a real kayak.  Ive since grown tolerant of these boats and in 40 or 50 years, when Im old and broken, I may cross over to the dark side but for now Ill be KAYAKING.

I remember pedal boats from Denis (sp) The Menace Park near Monterey.

That is probably what got me started with pedal Hobies.   Sorry.

I remember my Dad catching eels.   They tasted very good after being marinaded in lemon juice.

That was a long time ago.
